Why This Recipe Is A Must Try
Cooking Hints
- Preheat the air fryer for best results and to get a crispy outside.
- Toss the vegetables halfway through cooking for even roasting and flavor.
Step 1
Stir together the chili powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in a small bowl. Squeeze the juice of one lime over the turkey breast, then sprinkle the seasoning mix all over the meat. Drizzle with a tablespoon of oil, toss everything together, and set it aside to marinate for a bit.
Step 2
Chop up your bell peppers and onion, put them in a bowl, and toss with the remaining oil until they’re nicely coated.
Step 3
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Once it’s ready, pop in the peppers and onions and cook for about 8 minutes. Give the basket a good shake, then cook for another 5 minutes. Add the jalapeños and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
Step 4
After that, open the basket, give everything a shake, and spread the turkey strips in a single layer right on top of the veggies. Close the basket and cook for 7 to 8 minutes. Open it up again, toss everything to mix, then continue cooking until the turkey is cooked through and a little crispy on the edges, and the peppers are tender—about 5 more minutes.
Step 5
Once everything is done, transfer the fajitas to a bowl or serving platter, sprinkle with fresh cilantro, and squeeze the juice of the remaining lime over the top. Enjoy!
