Why This Dish Is Amazing
Cooking Tips You Should Know
- Warm the tortillas slightly before shaping to make them more flexible.
- Add a little oil to the pan when cooking the filling to enhance flavor and prevent sticking.
Step 1
Lightly heat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Take a small, oblong oven-safe dish and gently press a tortilla into it so it forms a little cup shape. Brush the inside with melted butter and sprinkle a bit of cinnamon sugar over it for a sweet touch. Pop it in the oven and bake until it’s nice and crispy, about 10 to 12 minutes. Once done, carefully lift the taco cup out and let it cool on a wire rack.
Step 2
Scoop your ice cream right into the taco cup, placing the scoops side by side. Lay banana halves on either side of the ice cream, then add diced strawberries over one scoop and pineapple tidbits over the other. Finish things off by adding a generous dollop of whipped cream in the middle, drizzling chocolate syrup over everything, and sprinkling some walnuts on top for a little crunch. Enjoy!
