Kitchen Advice
- Use a wire rack on your baking sheet to allow air circulation and even cooking.
- Adjust the level of spice by adding more or less chili powder or hot sauce according to your taste.
Step 1
Warm your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil, then spray a wire rack with cooking spray and place it on top of the pan.
Step 2
In a small saucepan, melt the butter and stir in the hot sauce, sucralose, salt, and garlic powder. Once combined, take the sauce off the heat and set it aside.
Step 3
Arrange the chicken wings on the wire rack in a single layer. Pop them in the oven and bake for 15 minutes. After that, carefully remove the pan, drain any juices that have collected, and flip the wings over. Put them back in the oven for another 15 minutes.
Step 4
Once the wings are cooked through, transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the sauce over the wings and toss everything together so they’re nicely coated. Return the wings to the rack on the baking sheet and bake again until they’re cooked through completely—this should take anywhere from 15 to 30 more minutes. To be sure, check that the thickest part near the bone reads 165°F (74°C) and the juices run clear. Enjoy!
