Gently heat your oven to 350°F and greasing a 9-inch square baking pan. In a bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, cake flour, baking powder, and salt. In a separate large bowl, cream the brown sugar and butter together with a mixer until it's nice and smooth. Then, beat in the egg and vanilla until everything is well combined.
