Why This Recipe Is So Good
Better Cooking Tips
- Use medium-sized potatoes so they cook evenly with the chicken.
- Cover the pan while cooking to keep the chicken juicy and potatoes tender.
Step 1
Heat some oil in a pan, then add the chopped garlic and cook gently for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
Step 2
Add the chicken and cook until it turns white. Season with salt, pepper, cumin seeds, and chili flakes, then give it a good stir. Turn off the heat and set it aside.
Step 3
In a large bowl, mash the boiled potatoes with a fork or masher until smooth.
Step 4
Mix the cooked chicken, chopped carrot, capsicum, cabbage, and coriander into the mashed potatoes. Combine everything well and shape the mixture as you like.
Step 5
In a separate bowl, beat together 2 eggs with a pinch of salt, chili flakes, and some cornflour.
Step 6
Dip each shaped piece into the egg mixture, then coat it thoroughly with breadcrumbs.
Step 7
Heat oil in a pan over medium-low heat and fry the pieces until they’re golden brown on all sides.
Step 8
Serve them hot with your favorite dip and enjoy!
