Why This Dish Is So Satisfying
Kitchen Advice
- Simmer the broth slowly to extract maximum taste from the chicken.
- Cook the noodles separately to prevent them from becoming mushy in the broth.
Step 1
Bring a pot of water to a boil, then add the spaghetti and cook until it’s almost done (about 90%). Drain and set aside.
Step 2
Heat some oil in a pan, then add the minced chicken. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the chicken turns white.
Step 3
Add the chopped white onion, cabbage, and green onions to the pan. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 4
Season with soy sauce, oyster sauce, salt, and chili powder. Give everything a good mix.
Step 5
Pour in some water and stir everything together. Add the cooked spaghetti and spring onions, then let it cook on medium-low heat for 3-4 minutes.
Step 6
If you want the broth a little thicker, stir in some cornflour slurry and cook for another minute.
Step 7
Turn off the heat and serve it up warm. Enjoy!
