What Makes This Recipe Unique
Cooking Techniques
- Rim the glass with salt and chili powder to add an extra kick.
- Chill all ingredients before mixing to keep the drink crisp and cold.
Step 1
Tos the cherry tomatoes, celery, and red bell pepper into a blender. Give everything a few quick pulses to get it moving, then blend on high until it turns into a smooth liquid. Pour the mixture through a fine strainer set over a bowl, using a spatula to press out as much juice as you can while leaving the seeds and skins behind. Season the juice with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Step 2
On a small plate, mix together some flake salt, black pepper, and chili powder. Run a lime wedge around the rim of your glass, then dip it into the spice mixture to coat the edge.
Step 3
Fill the glass with ice, then add a splash each of Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and soy sauce. Pour in the seasoned vegetable juice and squeeze in the juice of half a lime. Fill the glass about three-quarters full with a cold beer, give it a gentle stir, and top it off with a bit more beer. Garnish with a lime slice, and you’re ready to enjoy!
