What Makes This Dish So Tasty
Cooking Secrets
- Chill the mixture well before shaping to make handling easier.
- If the mixture is too sticky, refrigerate it longer or dust your hands with cocoa powder.
Step 1
Mix the crushed sandwich cookies, chopped walnuts, and powdered sugar in a big bowl. Pour in the coffee liqueur and corn syrup, then stir everything together until it’s well combined. If the mixture feels too dry, add a little more coffee liqueur, just a teaspoon at a time, until it holds together nicely.
Step 2
Pour some cocoa powder into a shallow dish. Take spoonfuls of the cookie mixture and roll them into balls, then coat each one in the cocoa powder. Place the balls in an airtight container and pop them in the fridge. Let them chill for at least 8 hours, or overnight if you can wait that long.
