Why You'll Love Making This
Chef Tips
- Toast the bread lightly to prevent it from getting soggy.
- Add a spread like hummus or avocado to enhance creaminess.
Directions
Turn on your oven’s broiler and moving the rack so it’s about 6 inches from the heat. Lay your bread slices out on a baking sheet. Spread a good amount of the baked beans with pork over each slice, then slice the luncheon meat into pieces and place one on top of each. Next, add a slice of cheese over the meat, and finish with a little ketchup and mustard on each sandwich. Pop the tray under the broiler and watch closely until the bread edges get nicely toasted and the cheese is melted and bubbly. Once done, take them out and enjoy while they’re warm!
