Why This Meal Is A Winner
Simple Cooking Tips
- Use a non-stick pan or cast iron skillet to get a nice caramelized glaze.
- Adjust the amount of chili or hot sauce to match your preferred spice level.
Step 1
Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper on both sides. In a large bowl, whisk together the peanut butter powder and water until smooth. Then, add the hot honey, soy sauce, and garlic powder, stirring everything until it’s well combined. Toss the chicken thighs in the marinade, making sure each piece is fully coated. Cover the bowl and pop it in the fridge for at least 8 hours, or overnight if you have the time.
Step 2
When you’re ready to cook, preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Transfer the marinated chicken to an oven-safe dish, spreading the pieces out evenly. Bake for about 35 to 45 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and the juices run clear. To be sure, check with a meat thermometer—the thickest part should reach 165°F (74°C). Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
