Why You'll Love Making This
Kitchen Tips
- Use fresh chili peppers if you want extra heat and a brighter taste.
- Cook the chicken on medium heat to avoid burning the spices while keeping it juicy.
Step 1
Blend coriander leaves, chillies, mint leaves, lemon juice, and a little water in a chopper until smooth. Set this green sauce aside.
Step 2
Heat some oil in a pan and sauté ginger-garlic paste for about a minute. Add crushed chillies and cook for another minute until fragrant.
Step 3
Stir in the raw onion paste and cook it down for 3 to 4 minutes until it softens.
Step 4
Add salt, pepper, coriander powder, cumin seeds, and yogurt to the pan. Mix everything well and let it cook for a couple of minutes.
Step 5
Pour in the green sauce you made earlier and give it a good stir to combine all the flavors. Let it simmer for a few minutes.
Step 6
Your spicy green chilli chicken is ready! Garnish with extra green chillies and some thinly sliced ginger before serving.
