- Toast the bread lightly to add a bit of crunch and prevent sogginess.
Step 1
Start with a slice of bread and sprinkle some mozzarella cheese on it. Place another slice of bread on top, then use a round cutter to cut a hole through both slices. Set aside the cut-out piece.
Step 2
Take a third slice of bread and spread cheddar cheese over it. Then place this slice under the two stacked slices you just prepared.
Step 3
Fill the hole in the top slices with chicken ham, being careful not to tear the bread. Sprinkle some shredded mozzarella cheese over the ham.

Crack an egg on top of the cheese, season with salt and pepper, and add a little extra cheese around the edges if you like.

You can also add some cheese on top of the bread circle you cut out earlier for extra cheesiness.
Step 6
Bake everything at 180°C (350°F) for about 10 minutes until the outside is crispy and the inside stays soft. Serve warm and enjoy!
