Why This Recipe Is A Must Try
Tips For Perfect Results
- Rinse the rice thoroughly before cooking to get the perfect sticky texture.
- Keep a small bowl of water nearby to wet your hands when handling the rice; this prevents sticking.
Step 1
Rins the rice a few times until the water runs clear. Then, put it in a saucepan with some water and bring it to a boil. Once it’s boiling, lower the heat to medium-low, cover the pot, and let it simmer gently for about 20 to 25 minutes, or until the rice is tender and all the water is absorbed. Take it off the heat and let it cool down to room temperature, which should take around 15 to 20 minutes.
Step 2
When the rice is ready, divide it evenly onto four plates. On top of the rice, layer the crab, followed by cucumber slices and then avocado slices. Finally, drizzle a bit of teriyaki sauce over each plate and sprinkle some sesame seeds to finish it off. Enjoy!
