Step 1
Peel your potatoes and slice them thinly. If you want more, just use extra potatoes. To keep the slices from turning brown, pop them into a bowl of water while you get everything else ready.

In another bowl, mix together some gram flour, salt, turmeric, chili flakes, cumin seeds, and chopped coriander leaves. Slowly add water and stir until you get a smooth batter. Then sprinkle in a little baking soda and mix it all well.
