Why This Recipe Is So Delicious
Tips For Better Flavor
- Preheat the oven to get a nice, crispy texture on the outside.
- Toss the potatoes in oil and season well before baking for extra flavor.
Step 1
Peel 5-6 potatoes. Using chopsticks or a knife, make cuts horizontally and vertically to create small cubes or chunks.
Step 2
Toss the potatoes with some salt in a bowl, then add enough water to cover them. Let them soak for about 15 minutes.
Step 3
After soaking, drain the potatoes and spread them out on a baking tray.
Step 4
In a small bowl, mix some oil with chopped garlic. Brush this garlic oil evenly over the potatoes.
Step 5
In another bowl, combine salt, chili powder, chili flakes, cumin powder, and paprika. Sprinkle this spice mix over the potatoes.
Step 6
Bake the potatoes in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 40 minutes, until they’re golden and cooked through.
Step 7
Serve warm alongside your favorite chicken or any other dish you like. Enjoy!
