Why You'll Keep Making This
Helpful Cooking Tips
- Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
- Cook over medium-high heat to get a nice char without drying out the meat.
Step 1
In a bowl, mix together the yogurt, pepper, chili flakes, oregano, paprika, salt, cumin, ketchup, and lemon juice until well combined.
Step 2
Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and stir everything together so the chicken is nicely coated. Let it marinate for at least an hour, or even better, overnight.
Step 3
Heat some oil in a pan over medium heat and cook the chicken until it turns golden brown on all sides.
Step 4
Once the chicken is cooked, add some chopped tomatoes, chilies, and onions to the pan. Cook the veggies until they’re nicely browned and soft.
Step 5
If you have a grill or can add some smoke flavor, give the chicken skewers a quick smoky finish for that extra touch.
Step 6
Serve the chicken hot and enjoy!
