What Makes This Recipe Special
Cooking Tips You Should Know
- Parboil the spaghetti slightly before threading to keep it from breaking.
- Marinate the chicken for at least an hour to enhance flavor and tenderness.
Step 1
First, let’s make the white sauce for the chicken sticks. Heat some oil in a pan, add chopped garlic, and cook it for about a minute until fragrant. Then stir in the all-purpose flour and cook for another 1-2 minutes. Slowly add the milk while stirring, and let it cook for 2-3 minutes until it thickens. Season with salt, pepper, and chili flakes, give it a good mix, and set it aside.
Step 2
In another pan, heat some oil and add ginger garlic paste. Cook it for a minute, then add the chicken pieces. Cook for 3-4 minutes, then season with salt, chili powder, cumin seeds, and chili flakes. Add a little water, cover the pan, and let it cook for another 3-4 minutes until the chicken is done. Once cooked, shred the chicken and set it aside.
Step 3
In a large bowl, combine the white sauce, grated carrots, boiled spaghetti, shredded chicken, salt, pepper, mozzarella cheese, and chopped coriander. Mix everything well so it’s evenly combined.
Step 4
Grease your hands a little and shape the mixture into long sticks. Beat two eggs in a bowl, dip each stick into the egg, then coat it thoroughly with breadcrumbs.
Step 5
Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the sticks until they turn golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels if needed, and then they’re ready to enjoy!
