Why This Dish Is Amazing
Tips From The Kitchen
- Cook the pasta just until al dente to avoid it becoming mushy when mixed with the sauce.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes after cooking to keep it juicy and tender.
Step 1
Bring a pot of water to a boil, add a pinch of salt and a little oil. Toss in the elbow macaroni and cook it until it’s almost done (about 80%). Drain and rinse with cold water, then set it aside.
Step 2
Heat some oil in a pan, add the chopped garlic, and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
Step 3
Add the chicken pieces and cook for 3-4 minutes until they turn white on the outside.
Step 4
Season with salt, then toss in the chopped carrot and cook for another minute.
Step 5
Add the capsicum and cabbage, cook everything together for a minute more. Sprinkle in some pepper and give it a good stir.
Step 6
Finally, add the cooked macaroni and some fresh coriander leaves. Mix everything well and it’s ready to serve!
