Why This Dish Is So Satisfying
Pro Kitchen Tips
- Steam the broccoli just until tender to keep a nice crunch.
- Warm the tortillas before filling to make them more flexible and prevent tearing.
Step 1
Heat your oven to 350°F. In a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef, stirring now and then, until it’s fully browned—this should take about 5 minutes. Once done, transfer the beef to a bowl and set it aside.
Step 2
Using the same skillet, add the Knorr® Rice Sides™ Cheddar Broccoli mix along with the water and beans. Bring everything to a boil over high heat, then lower the heat to medium, cover, and let it cook for about 7 minutes until the rice is nice and tender. Stir the cooked beef back into the skillet, take it off the heat, and let it sit for a couple of minutes. Then, mix in half a cup of salsa and half a cup of cheese.
Step 3
Now, grab your tortillas and spoon roughly three-quarters of a cup of the rice and beef mixture onto each one. Roll them up nice and tight.
Step 4
Lightly grease a 13x9-inch baking dish and spread half a cup of salsa evenly across the bottom. Place the burritos seam-side down in the dish. Spoon the remaining salsa over the tops of the burritos, then sprinkle the rest of the cheese on top. Cover everything with foil and bake for about 25 minutes, or until everything is warmed through.
Step 5
When they’re out of the oven, sprinkle some chopped green onions on top for a fresh touch and serve.
