Why This Recipe Is A Must Try
Cooking Tips
- Use a food processor to finely chop the pecans for an even crust.
- Preheat the air fryer to ensure the pork cooks evenly and the crust turns golden and crispy.
Step 1
Preheat your air fryer to 390°F (200°C), which usually takes about 5 minutes. In a small bowl, mix together the cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, salt, and pepper. Crack an egg into the bowl and whisk everything together until it’s well combined. Spread the pecans out on a plate.
Step 2
Take each pork chop and dip it into the egg mixture, making sure it’s fully coated. Then press the pecans onto both sides of the chops, so they stick well. Give each chop a light spray of cooking spray on both sides to help them crisp up.
Step 3
Place the chops in the air fryer basket, making sure they’re not overcrowded. Cook them for about 6 minutes, then carefully flip each chop using tongs. Keep cooking for another 6 minutes or until the pork is cooked through and no longer pink inside.
Step 4
Serve the chops warm, and if you like, sprinkle some fresh parsley on top for a little extra color and flavor.
