Why This Dish Is Hard To Resist
Helpful Chef Tips
- Warm the juice gently to blend the spices well without boiling it.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar or honey, depending on your taste.
Directions
Combin the apple cider, ginger, cinnamon stick, and cloves in a saucepan. Bring it all to a boil, then lower the heat and let it simmer gently for about 15 minutes, until the mixture has reduced slightly. Take the pan off the heat and stir in the brown sugar and honey right away, mixing until everything’s completely dissolved. Pour the warm cider mixture into a wide glass dish and pop it in the fridge to chill for at least 45 minutes. Once it’s nice and cold, transfer it to a large pitcher and add the rest of the apple cider along with the pumpkin puree. Give it a good stir until the pumpkin blends smoothly into the liquid, and you’re ready to serve!
